( 1. About the LARRVÉ Resale Marketplace )
LARRVÉ provides a peer-to-peer resale marketplace that allows eligible private individuals to sell their own pre-owned fashion items to other users.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, LARRVÉ is not the seller of items listed by users through the resale marketplace.
The contract for the sale of a resale item is between the seller and the buyer.
LARRVÉ provides the marketplace infrastructure and may facilitate:
- listings;
- payments;
- seller payouts;
- delivery information;
- buyer and seller communications;
- dispute resolution;
- store credit;
- fraud prevention; and
- other services necessary to operate the marketplace.
LARRVÉ charges a commission on completed resale transactions as explained below.
( 2. Who Can Sell )
You must be at least 18 years old to sell independently through LARRVÉ.
By listing an item, you confirm that:
- you are legally able to enter into the transaction;
- the information associated with your account is accurate;
- you are the legal owner of the item or otherwise have the legal right to sell it;
- you are selling the item lawfully; and
- you will comply with these Seller Terms and applicable law.
The resale marketplace is currently intended primarily for private individuals selling their own pre-owned items.
You must not falsely represent yourself as a private seller if you are actually acting for purposes relating to your trade, business, craft or profession.
If we reasonably believe you are operating commercially or as a trader, we may request additional information, apply additional requirements, restrict your account or prevent further selling through the private-seller marketplace.
( 3. Seller Verification )
We may require sellers to provide information necessary to verify their identity, facilitate payments, prevent fraud, comply with payment-provider requirements or satisfy legal and regulatory obligations.
This may include information such as:
- your full legal name;
- address;
- date of birth;
- email address;
- telephone number;
- bank or payout details;
- tax identification information where required;
- identification documentation; and
- other information reasonably necessary for verification or compliance.
Some verification may be carried out by third-party providers, including Stripe.
You must provide accurate and current information.
If required information is not provided or cannot be satisfactorily verified, we may restrict listings, delay or prevent payouts, suspend selling functionality or close your seller account where appropriate.
( 4. Digital Platform and Tax Reporting )
LARRVÉ may be required by applicable law to collect, verify, retain and report information relating to sellers and marketplace transactions to HM Revenue & Customs or another relevant tax authority.
Where required, this may include information concerning:
- your identity;
- address;
- date of birth;
- tax identification details;
- payment account information;
- the number of transactions completed;
- amounts paid or credited to you; and
- commissions, fees or taxes withheld or charged by LARRVÉ.
Where LARRVÉ is legally required to report information about you, we may also provide you with a copy of the information reported as required by applicable law.
You are responsible for understanding and complying with any personal tax obligations arising from your selling activity.
Being subject to platform reporting does not necessarily mean that you owe tax.
LARRVÉ does not provide individual tax advice.
( 5. Items You May Sell )
Items listed through LARRVÉ must:
- be legally owned by you or otherwise lawfully saleable by you;
- be authentic;
- be accurately described;
- comply with any category or condition requirements shown on LARRVÉ;
- be suitable for lawful resale;
- comply with these Seller Terms; and
- comply with applicable law.
LARRVÉ may restrict certain categories or types of products where reasonably necessary for safety, legal, operational or brand-protection reasons.
( 6. Prohibited Items )
You must not list or sell:
- counterfeit goods;
- stolen goods;
- goods you do not have the legal right to sell;
- items that materially infringe intellectual property rights;
- items subject to a legal prohibition on resale;
- items materially different from the item described in the listing;
- unsafe or recalled products;
- items that violate any category-specific restriction imposed by LARRVÉ; or
- any item whose sale would be unlawful.
We may remove a prohibited listing without completing a transaction.
Where appropriate, we may also restrict or suspend the seller's account.
( 7. Authenticity )
You must only list branded items that you reasonably believe to be genuine.
By listing a branded item, you confirm that it is authentic to the best of your knowledge and that you have not knowingly provided false information concerning its brand, origin or authenticity.
We may request evidence relating to authenticity, including:
- original receipts;
- order confirmations;
- proof of purchase;
- serial numbers;
- authenticity cards;
- product details;
- photographs; or
- other information reasonably relevant to the item.
You must cooperate with reasonable authenticity enquiries.
Counterfeit items are strictly prohibited.
Where we reasonably determine that an item is counterfeit, we may cancel the transaction, refund the buyer, prevent or reverse a payout where legally and technically possible, remove listings, restrict or suspend the seller's account and take other appropriate action.
( 8. Listing Accuracy )
You are responsible for the accuracy of every listing you create.
Listings must accurately describe:
- the item;
- brand;
- size;
- colour;
- material where known;
- condition;
- alterations;
- significant signs of wear;
- stains;
- tears;
- damage;
- missing components; and
- other material information that a reasonable buyer would want to know before purchasing.
You must not deliberately conceal faults or defects.
Photographs must reasonably represent the actual item being sold.
You must not use photographs in a way that materially misleads the buyer about the item's condition, colour, size, authenticity or appearance.
( 9. Condition of Items )
Pre-owned items do not need to be in new condition unless described as new.
However, the stated condition must accurately reflect the condition of the item being sold.
Ordinary signs of wear should be disclosed where they are significant enough to affect a buyer's purchasing decision.
If an item arrives materially different from the condition represented in the listing, the buyer may be entitled to raise a dispute under LARRVÉ Buyer Protection.
( 10. Pricing Your Item )
You are responsible for selecting the listing price for your item unless LARRVÉ expressly provides another pricing mechanism.
The price shown to the buyer may also include applicable delivery charges, taxes, platform charges or other amounts displayed separately where appropriate.
You must not manipulate listings or transactions in order to avoid commission or other fees properly due to LARRVÉ.
( 11. LARRVÉ Commission )
LARRVÉ charges a 12% seller commission on completed resale transactions.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of listing, the commission is calculated against the sale amount applicable to the item and deducted before the remaining seller proceeds are made available for payout or conversion to store credit.
Any materially different commission or fee applicable to a particular promotion or programme will be disclosed before you agree to the transaction.
By completing a sale through LARRVÉ, you authorise us to deduct the applicable commission and other amounts properly due under these Seller Terms.
( 12. Buyer Payment )
Buyer payments are processed through payment infrastructure made available by LARRVÉ and its payment providers.
The seller does not ordinarily receive the buyer's payment directly.
Seller proceeds remain pending while the transaction is completed and during the applicable Buyer Protection period.
You must not ask or encourage buyers to make payment outside LARRVÉ for a transaction initiated through the platform in order to avoid fees, Buyer Protection or platform controls.
( 13. Shipping Your Item )
When an item sells, you must package and dispatch it within the timeframe communicated through LARRVÉ.
You are responsible for ensuring that:
- the correct item is sent;
- the item is appropriately packaged;
- the package is addressed correctly using the information supplied through LARRVÉ;
- any shipping method required by LARRVÉ is used; and
- required tracking or proof of postage is retained.
You must not intentionally enter false tracking information or falsely mark an item as dispatched.
Repeated failure to dispatch sold items may result in restrictions on your seller account.
( 14. Failure to Dispatch )
If you fail to dispatch an item within the required timeframe, LARRVÉ may cancel the transaction and refund the buyer.
You will not be entitled to a seller payout for a cancelled transaction.
Repeated cancellations or failures to ship may result in:
- lower marketplace visibility;
- listing restrictions;
- temporary suspension; or
- termination of selling privileges.
( 15. Delivery and Tracking )
Where tracking is available, LARRVÉ may use courier tracking information to determine whether an item has been dispatched and delivered.
The 7-Day Buyer Protection and seller payout period will generally begin from confirmed delivery.
Confirmed delivery will normally be based on the delivery status supplied by the applicable courier or shipping provider.
If the buyer disputes whether an item was delivered, LARRVÉ may review tracking, proof of delivery and other relevant evidence.
( 16. 7-Day Buyer Protection and Payout Hold )
Seller proceeds remain pending during the 7-Day Buyer Protection period.
The buyer generally has 7 days from confirmed delivery to inspect the item and raise an eligible dispute.
During this period, your seller payout remains on hold.
If no eligible dispute is raised within 7 days of confirmed delivery, the transaction will generally be treated as completed and your seller proceeds will become eligible for release.
If the buyer confirms successful receipt and acceptance of the item before the 7-day period expires, LARRVÉ may make the payout eligible for earlier release where that functionality is available.
If a valid dispute is raised within the 7-day period, the payout will remain on hold until the dispute has been resolved.
( 17. When Buyers Cannot Return an Item )
Resale purchases made from genuine private sellers are final sale and are not eligible for LARRVÉ's standard 14-day change-of-mind return policy.
A buyer cannot require a return simply because:
- they changed their mind;
- they no longer want the item;
- the item does not fit;
- they do not like the style or colour;
- they ordered the wrong size where your listing stated the size accurately;
- they purchased the item accidentally; or
- they found a better price elsewhere.
However, a buyer may raise an eligible Buyer Protection dispute where there is a material problem with the transaction.
( 18. Buyer Protection Disputes )
A buyer may raise a dispute where, for example:
- the item is materially different from your listing;
- significant damage or defects were not disclosed;
- the wrong item was sent;
- the item is counterfeit or reasonably suspected of being counterfeit;
- the item was materially misrepresented; or
- the item was not received.
Where a dispute is raised, you must cooperate reasonably with LARRVÉ's review.
We may request information from you including:
- original listing photographs;
- additional photographs;
- purchase documentation;
- authenticity information;
- proof of postage;
- tracking information;
- communications with the buyer; and
- other evidence reasonably relevant to the dispute.
( 19. Dispute Decisions )
LARRVÉ may review the evidence available from both parties in order to administer Buyer Protection and determine the appropriate platform outcome.
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- reject the buyer's claim and release your payout;
- request further information;
- approve a return;
- cancel the transaction;
- refund the buyer;
- release all or part of your payout;
- withhold or reverse funds where legally and technically permitted; or
- take another reasonable action appropriate to resolving the transaction.
Where a return is approved, you must accept the return in accordance with the instructions provided by LARRVÉ.
A return approved under Buyer Protection is not the same as a general change-of-mind return.
( 20. Condition of Returned Disputed Items )
Where LARRVÉ approves a return following a Buyer Protection dispute, the buyer is expected to return the same item originally supplied.
If you believe the returned item:
- is not the same item;
- has been materially altered;
- has been materially damaged after delivery;
- has been substituted;
- has been worn or used beyond what was necessary for the dispute; or
- otherwise appears inconsistent with the buyer's claim,
you should notify LARRVÉ promptly and provide supporting evidence.
We may review the matter before finalising the transaction outcome.
( 21. Seller Protection )
We may take reasonable steps to protect sellers against fraudulent or abusive buyer claims.
This may include reviewing:
- tracking information;
- proof of postage;
- proof of delivery;
- listing photographs;
- buyer-supplied photographs;
- seller-supplied photographs;
- account behaviour;
- communications; and
- other relevant evidence.
Seller Protection does not guarantee payment in every dispute.
You remain responsible for complying with these Seller Terms and accurately listing and sending the item purchased.
( 22. Seller Payouts )
Eligible seller proceeds may be paid out using Stripe Connect or another payout service made available by LARRVÉ.
The amount available for payout will normally be the completed sale amount less:
- the applicable 12% LARRVÉ commission;
- refunds or adjustments relating to the transaction;
- amounts properly due as a result of a dispute;
- payment reversals or chargebacks where applicable; and
- any other fees clearly disclosed and agreed.
After LARRVÉ releases a payout, Stripe, your bank or another payment provider may require additional processing time before funds reach your account.
LARRVÉ is not responsible for delays caused solely by your bank or payment provider.
( 23. Payout Holds )
We may reasonably delay or hold a payout where:
- a Buyer Protection dispute has been raised;
- fraud is suspected;
- the transaction is subject to a payment dispute or chargeback;
- seller verification remains incomplete;
- required tax or regulatory information has not been provided;
- the transaction appears to breach these Seller Terms;
- we reasonably suspect the item is counterfeit, stolen or prohibited; or
- we are legally required to restrict payment.
We will not withhold seller proceeds arbitrarily.
Where appropriate, we will provide information about why funds are being held and what action may be required.
( 24. Chargebacks and Payment Reversals )
A buyer or payment-card holder may in some circumstances dispute a transaction through their bank or payment provider.
Where a chargeback, payment reversal or similar payment dispute occurs in connection with your transaction, we may provide relevant evidence to the payment provider and temporarily hold related seller proceeds while the matter is investigated.
Where funds are lawfully reversed after a seller payout has already been made, you may be responsible for reimbursing amounts properly attributable to your transaction where the reversal arose from your breach of these Seller Terms, fraud, misrepresentation or another matter for which you are responsible.
We will not make you responsible for losses that are solely caused by LARRVÉ's own breach or error.
( 25. Store Credit )
Where available, you may choose to convert some or all of eligible seller proceeds into LARRVÉ store credit rather than receiving a cash payout.
Conversion to store credit is voluntary.
Before confirming a conversion, we will show you the amount being converted and any applicable promotional benefit.
Once you voluntarily convert eligible seller proceeds into store credit, the conversion may be treated as final except where required otherwise by law or where LARRVÉ expressly permits reversal.
Store credit can only be used in accordance with the conditions displayed when it is issued.
( 26. 10% Store-credit Voucher )
Where a seller converts £10 or more of eligible seller proceeds to LARRVÉ store credit, LARRVÉ currently offers a one-time 10% discount voucher, subject to the applicable promotional terms.
The voucher is separate from the amount of store credit converted.
Eligibility, redemption rules, expiry, exclusions, maximum discount value or other restrictions may be displayed when the voucher is issued.
The 10% voucher may not be exchanged for cash.
We may change or withdraw this promotional incentive for future conversions.
A change will not retrospectively remove a voucher that has already been validly issued.
( 27. Taxes )
You are responsible for determining whether your selling activity creates any personal tax obligations.
Selling personal belongings does not necessarily mean that you are trading or liable to pay tax.
However, circumstances may differ where, for example, someone buys or produces goods with the intention of selling them for profit or otherwise operates a commercial activity.
LARRVÉ does not provide tax advice.
Where required by law, LARRVÉ may report seller and transaction information to HMRC or another competent authority.
( 28. Intellectual Property )
You retain any intellectual property rights that you own in original photographs or listing content you upload.
By uploading content to LARRVÉ, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt for technical purposes and use that content as reasonably necessary to:
- operate your listing;
- provide marketplace functionality;
- promote your listing;
- advertise or promote the LARRVÉ marketplace;
- investigate disputes; and
- operate and improve the service.
This licence ends when the content is no longer reasonably needed for these purposes, subject to legal, dispute, archival and record-keeping requirements.
You must not upload photographs, text or other content that you do not have the legal right to use.
( 29. Communication with Buyers )
You must communicate respectfully and honestly with buyers.
You must not:
- harass or threaten another user;
- request payment outside LARRVÉ in order to avoid fees or protections;
- provide false information;
- send unlawful or abusive content;
- misuse another user's personal information; or
- use buyer information for unrelated marketing.
Buyer information supplied to you for completing a transaction may only be used for legitimate purposes relating to that transaction or as otherwise permitted by law.
( 30. Off-platform Transactions )
You must not use LARRVÉ primarily to identify buyers and then intentionally move transactions off-platform in order to avoid LARRVÉ commission, payment controls or Buyer Protection.
If you repeatedly attempt to circumvent the marketplace in this way, we may restrict or suspend your account.
LARRVÉ Buyer Protection and Seller Protection do not apply to transactions completed outside LARRVÉ.
( 31. Cancelling a Sale )
You should only list an item that you genuinely intend and are able to sell.
If you need to cancel a transaction before dispatch, you should do so promptly using the available functionality or contact LARRVÉ.
Repeated seller cancellations may result in account restrictions.
A seller may not demand additional payment from a buyer after a transaction has been completed in order to proceed with the sale.
( 32. Fraud and Abuse )
You must not:
- create fraudulent listings;
- sell counterfeit or stolen items;
- manipulate transactions;
- create transactions between accounts you control to misuse promotions or platform functionality;
- falsify tracking or delivery evidence;
- abuse seller or buyer protection;
- deliberately submit false evidence during a dispute;
- engage in money laundering or other unlawful financial activity; or
- otherwise misuse the marketplace.
We may investigate suspected fraud and may cooperate with Stripe, financial institutions, rights holders, law enforcement or other competent authorities where appropriate.
( 33. Account Restrictions and Suspension )
We may restrict, suspend or terminate selling privileges where reasonably necessary because of:
- serious or repeated breaches of these Seller Terms;
- counterfeit or prohibited goods;
- fraudulent activity;
- materially misleading listings;
- repeated failure to dispatch;
- serious abuse of buyers;
- manipulation of the platform;
- failure to complete required verification;
- unresolved payment risk;
- legal or regulatory requirements; or
- conduct that materially threatens the safety or integrity of LARRVÉ.
Where reasonable and legally permitted, we will provide information about the reason for the action.
Suspension or closure of an account does not automatically remove obligations relating to existing transactions, disputes or amounts properly owed.
( 34. Removal of Listings )
We may remove or restrict a listing where we reasonably believe that it:
- breaches these Seller Terms;
- is misleading;
- contains prohibited goods;
- infringes intellectual property;
- creates a legal or safety risk;
- is fraudulent; or
- otherwise presents a material risk to buyers or the marketplace.
Removal of one listing does not prevent us from taking further account action where appropriate.
( 35. Your Responsibility as Seller )
As the seller, you are responsible for:
- having the right to sell the item;
- accurately describing the item;
- disclosing material defects;
- supplying the item shown in the listing;
- packaging and dispatching it appropriately;
- complying with applicable laws; and
- cooperating with legitimate disputes and verification requirements.
LARRVÉ's involvement in facilitating payments or disputes does not transfer your responsibilities as seller to LARRVÉ.
( 36. LARRVÉ'S Role and Liability )
LARRVÉ provides the marketplace through which private sellers and buyers can transact.
Unless LARRVÉ expressly identifies itself as the seller of an item, LARRVÉ does not own, manufacture or sell third-party resale items.
We do not guarantee that every buyer or seller will perform their obligations.
However, this does not affect any responsibility LARRVÉ has under applicable law for the services that LARRVÉ itself provides.
Nothing in these Seller Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
( 37. Changes to Seller Terms )
We may update these Seller Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our marketplace, payment systems, policies or legal requirements.
Changes will generally apply to listings and transactions occurring after the updated terms take effect.
We will not retrospectively alter the material economic terms of a completed transaction in a way that unfairly removes rights already accrued.
Where a change is significant, we may provide notice through LARRVÉ, your account or email.
( 38. Governing Law )
These Seller Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Nothing in these Terms removes any rights that apply under mandatory law.
